Liberal thought can perpetuate subtle, polite, racialized racism. When you talk about a stereotype like black men being dangerous or black people being unintelligent, it makes it more salient in your mind. So when liberals want to raise awareness of this thing and that, raising awareness is great but it poses risks in certain ways.
