Are We a Democracy That Leaves People to Their Own Devices?

With the ukraine russia situation, we are facing a real question. Are we a society that leaves people to their own devices? And i think there is a possibility that climate change will wake us up,. not only to beating back clima change, but to creating a way of living with the planet and with each other better than ever before. I think it is possible that we come out of afgonisa and we deal with this wretched situation in a way that has actually more humility.
