There's a few, a few sort of moments that bear consideration. It was under george w. Bush that the united states started getting involved in programs to combat and prevent violent extremism in the south. There was also the intervene tion in libia and two thousand and 11, which had a couple of massive consequences for, uh, the salian countries. And then just to add sort of one more historical context factor: before algeria sent some some, you know, before some m algerian radicals started a sort of network with their, their brothers to the, to the north, south of the border.
