"I just don't think mega man stands up much as like an important moment in the medium," he says. "This game is not to me anywhere near the quality of super Metroid, which came out of year later and does a lot of the things I like about the game much, much better" He adds that Mega Man has this ferocious horizontal speed in Mega Man X that feels like a such a crowd pleaser.
