The Keeper of Stories by Janice Clax
Janice Clax spent a year collecting other people's stories for her new novel. She says she was surprised by the reactions of friends and family when they found out about it. The book is based on trees, so you've got to ask yourself what kind of tree are you looking at? What do you think would look good as a character in this story? You can't just pick one or two ideas from them all. So I'm going to start with some really simple ones like 'what does that word mean?' And then go through these different questions until I get an answer.
