The Psychological Desire for Interruptions

When I see a hyperlink on a page that I'm reading, I don't feel the urge to just click on it and see where it goes. The average person just wants to surf the web to see where they end up. That's never really been me. Whenever I go on there, I have a very specific purpose or thing that I want to check. But I totally get the psychological desire that people have to be interrupted.
