Physiological Responses to Treatment Based on Race and Gender

People tended to rate white providers as lower on warmth the other groups, and rated all of the groups equivalently in terms of competence. We found really no evidence of explicit bias or implicit bias. But we did find perhaps an evidence that socially engaging more with these providers could be one reason why people were less responsive to treatment.
