The New Decalogue

The death of 72 people in Bursa'id sparked massive protests. The military and police played their cards, right, they hung out a few sacrificial lambs. But then they bought enough time for everything to be buried. And also they didn't have to shoot anybody. They just had to step back and let these people go. There's one couple that I think is especially apt for 20th and 21st century violence. That is they'll shall not kill, but needs not strive, officially to keep alive.
