What's the Diabolo Shape of the Old Testament?
The first five books of the bible are very special. They are basic to the whole bible. There's a very interesting pattern. Take who genesis is concerned with, the whole human race. Exodus is the beginning of their national life. Numbers is concerned national life. And deuteronomy looks again, to the history of the whole world. It's an amazing pattern when you see it all put beautifully together. But those five books are, in a sense, the most important part of the old testament. The more you know about them, the more you'll understand the rest of the old Testament and indeed the new so the jews are right to put a special emphasis on these five books.
