The Three Poses of Jonah

Jonah in his life or up until this point has had three postures and I'm curious which one you might have. When he got thrown into the sea, Jonah prays for mercy. Now that he's been delivered by the belly of the fish, he prays from mercy. He was only on the ship when he didn't pray at all because he thought he didn't need mercy. For some of us? We won't pray until we get the diagnosis, will we? Get diagnosed with cancer or some illness or a family member. Then we're going to cry out to God.
