The Difference Between Investor and Practitioner in Product and Venture

In product it's pretty fun, because i have to have two lenses that i use really frequently. It's my wide angle lens, thinking about the industry, where we need to go as a team and how do we play in the broader ecosystem? But then they also have the zoom lens, right? I have to think really, very deeply about each individual step that we have to take in order to achieve our goals. And so it's that constant kind of shifting in scales between wide angle and zoom that i have to handle. In venture, you really just have the wide angle end. You're thinking more at the company level, the industry level, and making bet on the future.
