The connectivity of devices in the kitchen right now still is a big question mark. I remember talking to some appliance manufacturers and they say, you know, 90% of their smart appliances never get connected to the internet. That might be slight overestimate, but it was like they rarely do or if they do get connected,. no one ever bothers to reconnect it because they just haven't found the value. The most compelling use case for regular consumers is if you connect it to the internet, we can tell you why it broke. Now that has got better. My fridge will diagnose itself. Actually, it did once when it wasn't working properly.
