The End of the Village

I'm a Night Owl was the best thing I wrote in those days, just as a song. It had a feel to it. And I've often thought that I'd like to try to cut that. Oh, this, you know, the fish likes the water. That's where he's going to be. A monkey lives on fruits and bananas. So he lives in the top of a tree. But my eyes are made for darkness. So the nighttime's right for me. I'm a night owl. Most folks like the daytime ... They're up in the morning off and run until they're too tired to have any fun. When the sun goes down and the bright lights shine
