The Spanish Disassembled Pyramidal Temples in Downtown Mexico City
A lot of people don't understand this. Why would the Spanish cover up these temples and these pyramidal structures? And why would they disassemble them? Wouldn't they want to preserve the integrity of the early people? No, I think it was quite the opposite. They wanted to basically eradicate what they consider to be pagan beliefs.
