Consumer Sentiment Index - The Worst Recession Since the Great Depression
Consumer sentiment crashed all the way down to 50 point two. Now that is the lowest it's ever been in the history of this survey. Consumers are more pessimistic now than they were in 19 80, when inflation was at 13 and a half % and interest rates were at 20%.
