Justin Hendricks: I attended RITESCON, the big gathering of individuals and organizations concerned with human rights and technology. He says he helped run a workshop that asked participants to evaluate their own threat models for private communications. During the workshop, we previewed some of the key findings and recommendations in a forthcoming report on the security and design of encrypted messaging apps,. Keep an eye out for that report, which will be published on June 20th.
