The Role of the Church in Education in Britain
In the grammar schools, there was quite a lot that was kind of scripturally based. These were all originally kind of religious and foundations. And you still see the legacy of some of those kind of very early foundations to day. You have religious education being the only compulsory subject in britain despite the national curriculum. There's a lot of influence, i think, of am, of the church. If you look internationally, i think the church has a lot of imperts still in this country.
