The Importance of Observability in APIs
The first one is forgetting the users and when you think in terms of APIs if you expose your API you actually have two different kind of users. The developer who is integrating it and then add it goes to end product and somebody else is using the whole package. Sometimes you don't even know the impact that your API has have because they're integrated in so many places maybe there's not a job performance problem but suddenly you get a notification with important websites done or some information missing due to an API problem.
