Episode 94: How Computers Work Part IV - Processor Architecture and Machine Code
The Science of Everything Podcast

Using Conditional Branching Operations in a Processor Architecture
There are four key types of operations that will be included in an instruction set architecture. These include movemint instructions, aly operations, conditional branching operations and input output instructions. Each processor has its own unique set of operations to perform but different processes will share the same instructions at architecture. I'll talk more about interruption and how that's implemented in the hardware in the next episode.
