I've Been on the Trail for a Few Years Now, but I'm Not Sure if It's a Good Idea.

In the cold sections of the trail, which I defined as Washington and the Sierra, I use my catabatic quilt. It was then at the time warmer than my enlightened equipment quilt, even though it was rated as two degrees colder. When you're trying to go quickly, every ounce matters. One other thing that we could mention being that it is possibly going to be a high snow year is don't forget that you can hit snow before you get to the Sierra like San Jacinto.
