Don't have a full fledged coaching sales conversation where you're exploring their dreams and da da da right then and there if it makes enough sense for you to keep talking offer them to make an appointment to have a deeper conversation. Don't be at the cocktail party for example having this deep conversation like they cannot give you their full attention so I don't want you to get confused I want you to ask them just enough question that have just enough of a conversation to make sure to find out if it makes sense, she says. If you're not the right match for them you want to refer them to someone who can do what you are looking for.
