In 1918, the U.S. air service is struggling to get off to a good start in France. General Blackjack Pershing has some competent leaders who understand aviation far better than most of America's top brass. The Lafayette Escadilly becomes the US 103rd Aerosquadron on February 18th, 1918. Among these soon-to-come pilots will be some of the war's most famous aces.
