Computer Literacy - The Basic Language
Dartmouth College created the first programming language, basic. It was designed to be used by anyone who wanted to use it. The computer center at dartmouth became a hot place for students in the 60s and 70s. Basic opened up computing to people who weren't just computer jocks. Tom corman is a professor in dartmot's computer science department.
