Did Fitzroy's Forecasting Really Work?
Fitzroy started forecasting much earlier than science was ready for. In 18 79, the royal society felt comfortable enough with saying, oco, we can have the forecasting program,. And they'd done the research, they should have caught up with fitzroy's vision. But it was his t day. i think that, you know, he's a problematic character in the history of science, ar but we maybe owe him quite a bit. I went and saw his grave d which is just down the road from there. He wasn't allowed to be buried. It's just on the edge of the graveyard, cause he killed himself.
