Pentecostalism and Spiritual Warfare

Pentecostals are driven by a desire to engage in some form of spiritual warfare. It's this idea that demons and spiritual forces are intervening in our everyday lives. When you start talking in those erms, they can turn violent very quickly. And so then what that looks like is giving people a justification to commit violent acts. So it's becoming a really awful sort of repackage form of christian dominionism - dehumanizing your opponent.
