The Language of Money

Money is a formula, it's an abstract representation just as all of language is. The Greeks hit on the widespread use of money as an abstract representation at the same time that they introduced the Greek alphabet. Money does the same function but for human action itself and we're using it to develop conception and communicate conceptions. So by representing prices and communicating prices, it is sending information. And then that of course takes us into a lot of issues about controlling language or not.
