Eels in the Azores
Marine biologists found that mature eels heading back to spawn in the Sargasso Sea made a stopover in the Azores off the coast of Africa. As ecologist Rosalind Wright worked out while she was on holiday there. We had nets over all the islands but after two weeks the net was full of debris even a dead rat and we were going to have to take them out. But it took a lot of research and finding but eventually we did manage to catch them.
