The writer, the reader only buys it if we get on the local level. In a certain way, you're putting your injecting yourself into the store. That's just my memories of walking home from the store in the rain. And then also the reader does the same thing. She might remember fog up glasses. So this localizing that you're talking about, it has to do linguistically with specificity. Once you start having to put those in, the sentences get more interesting.
