In april, i believe it was april. I don't think it was march. The ukranian government and the russian government were meeting in turkey under turkish auspices to try to negotiate some kind of peaceful resolution to the situation. And apparently, i haven't seen it yet, but i've heard reference to it, that this has now been explicitly stated by fiona hill in the most recent issue of foreign affairs magazine and journal. It would have involved a withdrawal of russia to the pre invasion lines, but would also involve a neutral status for ukraine.
