Gender and Noun Class

Gender and noun class to me have always met the same thing. It's important to keep in mind that you have gender you have class and you have classifiers. Gender is typically what you have three classes and people talk about or and sometimes two and classes are when you're in things like the Bantu languages that have four or more. Do not confuse these with classifiers which is a different thing that we've talked about before with like Chinese and 13th head of cattle and all of that.
