The Importance of Syncretism in Christianity

There's another Iwa named Papa Legba. And he's like a syncretism of some voodoo God and then also Saint Peter and I think Saint Anthony is supposed to be kind of all of them coalesced into one. The point is, and this isn't new, it's just like what you're saying. When you get the syncretism vibe going on, it's like a blended up version of light and dark where you're trying to bring in the obvious beauty of Christianity into something that's ugly.
