Is There Something Important About Christianity in All This?
In classical chinese, until really quite recently, there weren't really words for i and me in chinese as we used them. You could sort of point to someone as an individual, but you would say the human person,. rather than fully acknowledging the eye with all the resonance that that means for us in the west. And this then led to a further conversation, because i think there's something important about christianity in all this, and something that'sgot lost in christianity and all this. But putting that to one side, i think something's gone wrong with christianity.
