What the Scotch Irish Do in the Appalachians

The Scotch Irish were expropriated for resisting the imposition of English colonialism. They settle this space between the natives and the colonists. Eventually, once we get to the the Appalachians, they are transferred there. That means they'll put up with a lot more poverty because that is historically what they have had in these roles away from any concentrations of capital or surplus.
