The History of the New York Library

Moore filled the shelves of the new reading room with hundreds and eventually thousands of children's books. The only requirement was that they sign their name in a big black ledger alongside a pledge. Rich and Pork-It's-a-Like flocked to the library. Moore began training librarians to establish new reading rooms throughout New York.
