It canav was a trial run for dog soldiers, and proved to the producers that i could actually just make a move. I told a story and was dynamic and looked goodand it helped in that respect massively. The film is not what i would think of as a new marsial movi. No, it's not at all. It was just is random notion that suddenly spread. And the more i thought about it, was like applying these kind of wartime metaphorsone to this night out at the pub, suddenly fell into place. Because it's essentially silent, it'll travel well. Anyway, we got the money to do it, and we shot it over a week end.
