The use of weights I think is valuable but it's got to be done appropriately for a rock climber. A hangboard program can be game-changing shoring up an unstable shoulder that's on the road to injury and so you know really trying to maintain health and stability of your shoulders which are commonly injured. To just mindlessly bench press thinking that's gonna be game- changing is just a stupid thing, he says.
