The Evolution of Early Galaxies
JWST is looking at early galaxies in the universe. They're very compact, maybe up to 10 times smaller than our Milky Way would be today. The other aspect of these galaxies is they likely have very massive black holes. That's an important aspect of understanding how galaxies and their black holes can grow together.
