Scream three takes place in hollywood on the set of stab three, and brings to light the drama her mother went through there. The actress playing sydney and stab three later says she slept with the producer this part. These movies were executive produced in part by harvey weinstein. It is very hard not to think that this is a commentary on what was going on, not just with him, but with h Hollywood at large.
