There is no alternative, right? Like how would you ever conceivably talk to your friends without getting spied on? But when you say to Facebook, how would that work? They're like, you're asking me for water that's not wet. Those are lies and so they kind of muddy the waters. And I think that science fiction is sometimes posed as a predictive literature,. which is the most dismal thing I can imagine because if the future can be predicted, then why are we even getting out of bed?"
