Hydrogen’s Role in Decarbonization (with Electric Hydrogen CEO Raffi Garabedian)
Azeem Azhar's Exponential View
Is Liquid Hydrogen a Good Alternative to Natural Gas?
Liquefying hydrogen is extremely energy intensive, and much of that energy is lost in the process. Ammonia is actually very easy and economic to produce, and it's relatively easy to liquefy, store and transport. Each has its ozen, its cons and depending on the application, the use case, we might see one or the other win. There are also emerging technologies called liquid organic hydrogen carriers which can be hydrogenated and dehydrogenated with relatively low energy imput Or relatively little energy lost in theprocess.
