The US Overdose Deaths Continue to Rise
The US saw another record number of overdose fatalities in 2022. Over 109,000 Americans died from drug related overdoses between January 2022 and January 2023,. 0.7% increase from the year before. While the national average increased by 0.7%, a handful of kilo cows accounted for the majority of the death increase. New York City saw an increase of nearly 14% and Texassaw an increase of 12.65%.
