There's a history professor named albre class who works out of arizona and wrote an entire book that is impenetrable, i will say politely. Cause he argues that they never actually were real. He says there's a bunch of literary representation, but almost no torical references to any man ever trying to put a chastity belt on his wife. And he argues that all these literary references are allegorical or satirical. I know this isn't real, but again, they was in their museum.
