Medicare Is a Question of Values, Not Affordability
The rising cost of Medicare is really just a mere reflection of the broader issues in our healthcare economy. The accusation or the charge that Social Security is going bankrupt is actually nonsensical. There are, I would say, problems in Medicare that we can dive into during this conversation as you like. But to me, this question of affordability is not the right way to think about it.
