What Are the Lessons of the Kinderloten Movement?

There was a stigma against making a fuss about it if you thought what was going on was unhealthy, because doing so would make you seem counter revolutionary. The excesses of the Kinderloten movement are evidence of how deeply toxic groupthink can be regardless of what side it comes from. It's really ironic to me that a movement that started as an anti authoritarian response to fascism ended with people sitting by and watching other kinds of horrific crimes occurBecause they were still too scared to go. There's a lot of lessons about human nature in here. And none of them are positive.
