What Are the Benefits of Oysters?

Oysters are known to have a pretty high level of zinc. Zinc actually is connected to fertility. And so the, you know, I think the long standing connection between eating oysters and aphrodisiac properties is really due to the zinc. There's polysaccharides that can boost your immune system,. They're anti-inflammatory and they boost your T cells, which is quite amazing. You can even find those when you cook down oysters so they're caramelized.
