Is There a Contagion Dynamo?

The uninsured portion of deposits amount to about $300 billion for which ultimately taxpayers are on our side. So the problem gets really big, really fast. And so that's where we are now trying to figure out how to arrest that contagion either by uncapping deposit insurance or just hoping that the depositors won't be as mobile as we think they could be.
