I regard anything and everything that happens as an offer which means to an improviser something you can take and use has all the other ideas packed into it. When these things happen I call them the jumping up and down moments for the simple reason that I get so excited by the fit almost in a sort of biological sense That I kind of jump up and down, not literally fitting but completely fitting. And I think that one of the proofs when you see something that's perfect is often evidence that it has been improvised because it's hard to make things fit.
