The Writers Guild of America and Their Supporters Are on Strike
On Monday evening, it came out that Turkey has now agreed to back Sweden's bid to join NATO. This is another country joining the Alliance, bringing them up to 32 countries in total. The Writers Guild of America and their supporters have been picketing every major Hollywood studio for almost three months now. As early as Thursday, SAG-AFTRA might be going on strike too. It was not clear if a deal would be made at the time we went to record Tuesday evening.
