Freud's Uncanny Valley

The uncanny valley as an idea normalizes the feelings of revulsion. It produces an excuse to not engage, and it puts a defect on the side of the object. That's what Freud is talking about. There's not a like, there's not a morality about it. He's saying we have this experience. And again, if you read back from Maurice of Freud, you could, you know, tell yourself that's what Freud's saying but Freud is on the other side of it.
