Samson, the son of an israelite and a philistine, was told that he would live as a naza d. He agreed not to cut his hair, drink wine or eat grapevine products; touched dead people made unclean. Samson's wife gave him a riddle: What is sweeter than honey and what is stronger than a lion? When she couldn't figure it out, samson asked her to tell them so they could lose their wager. The hare turned out to be the answer in this case.
